אומנם רבים מחכים לראות את Banjo franchise מגיע לקונסלה של נינטנדו ה- Nintendo Wii Virtual Console, אולם יש שמועות עקשניות (יותר כמו הודאה באשמה) כי הזיכיון דווקא בדרכו אל מערכת הXbox Live Arcade.
בשאלה במערכת הפורומים של Rare, מערכת שבה שואלים הגולשים שאלות ומערכת Rare עונה להם, נשאלה Rare האם הזיכיון בדרכו לXBLA:
